Amazing, friendly, warm welcoming, what more could you ask for.

This is the 3rd visit I’ve made to Elberry farm and it doesn’t disappoint. Mandy and Michael are the most amazing hosts you could ever ask for.
The farm is lovely warm and welcoming with everything you could Want and more. The breakfasts are worth getting up for in the morning with plenty of choice.

Elberry farm is in the best location possible with 2 beaches with in walking distance and is a great place to take your family or loved ones. I can say I’ll be back down next year for sure. It’s the only place to stop in Devon for me, and once you’ve been I’m sure you’ll agree.

An excellent B&B in an idyllic location.

We had an excellent long weekend at this B&B. We loved the clean and spacious 'double room' with a view to the garden and the fields beyond; a wonderful, quiet place.

Breakfast was served by Mandy. We enjoyed a good portion of Greek yoghurt and fruit salad but a full fried breakfast was also on offer.

The house is very close to two beaches; the relatively secluded 'cove' and the large sandy and very popular 'Broadsands' beach. There is a golf course between the two beaches and beyond them an interesting cliff-top walk. Highly recommended for families and nature-loving couples..

Holiday.

We had a wonderful three days staying with Mandy and Michael on their farm. It was incredibly relaxing and a peaceful location just a short walk (3 mins) from Broadsands Beach Beach and Elberry cove.

Our room was spotless, comfortable bed overlooking a beautiful garden. Superb breakfast and a lovely warm welcome from Mandy of tea with scones cream and jam lovely

Just perfect!.

We arrived hours earlier than expected and received a warm and friendly welcome together with a pot of coffee and toast after our long journey.

The location couldnt be any the more perfect just a short stroll from the beach with the farm itself nestling in lush countryside.

The walled garden was a joy to sit in relaxing with a glass of wine or early morning before tucking in to a delicious and satisfying full english breakfast. Our room was clean and airy the bed extremely comfortable.

Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer....we will definitely return and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, idyllic, friendly and homely place to stay.

Amazing, friendly, warm welcoming, what more could you ask for.

A true taste of English hospitality...
As Americans, we truly appreciated the warmth and charm of this beautiful working English farm. Mandy and her family were wonderful, the en-suite room was lovely, breakfasts were a real treat, and the garden was very relaxing. The horses, incredibly well trained spaniels, and overall ambience, made our week there most enjoyable.

Elberry Farm is a delightful and warm place to stay.

I favour to leave organising accommodation to the better half, be it left to me we'd be kipping under the pier, hugging a cheap carton of wine. I take the easy parts; driving, locating closest eateries and testing chairs for afternoon snooze suitability.

We passed the simple option we could've taken on the main road; a run of the mill budget hotel chain situated next to a lively construction site with addition charges for a substandard breakfast and car park.

We'd have been there by now had we chosen that option but to save a few pounds we're double backing tight coastal tracks due to a sat-nav postcode failure.

However the disadvantages end there. Sure we've saved a few quid opting for this farmhouse B&B, but there's better reasons to consider she had made the correct choice.

Greeted by a friendly horse in the courtyard it took a while for things to get arranged. The landlady apologised, explaining she was tending the stables upon welcoming us. This laid back approach didn't matter, rather added to its authentic charm; and besides, up the track is a wonderfully quiet beach where we stopped for an ice cream.

Her friendliness puts the kid's apprehension at ease, they're unsure about the break from the norm. But shown the beautiful walled garden complete with football goal and the grand and comfy lounge with games, Lego and large TV, they're already warming to the place.

Here's the point, while they're free to play in the garden, we can keep a causal eye on them from the lounge, breakfast room and even the comfy family room upstairs.

Returning in the evening it was a sauntering in socks experience, the kind of homely ethos whereby we had the run of the lounge and time to sprinkle it with Lego bricks.

Mandy the landlady came to check we were comfortable, took our breakfast order and left to go about her business.

This is a working farm, with fresh eggs on the breakfast table, horses in stables, wellies at the door and a couple of hounds who look indearingly through the window while you dine on a scrumptious fresh brekkie.

If you want charming rural authenticity then you've come to right place; we awoke in the morning to news a pony fowl had just been born.

There's a room with a view, a clean fresh approach, but most importantly, a welcoming atmosphere which drew my daughter to consider giving up all a holiday camp has to offer in favour of spending a relaxing week here.

Though this was only a weekend break I'm inclined to agree with her. Elberry Farm is a delightful and warm place to stay; I'd throughly recommend it and cheaper than the standard chain hotels you'd be doing yourself a great favour by giving it a try.

Amazing, friendly, warm welcoming, what more could you ask for.

Always a warm welcome and attention from both Mandy and Michael, (when he's not working on the farm.) Situated near the beach of Broadsands and lovely cliff walks and views. Good rooms and hearty breakfast in this big farmhouse with a large garden. Nothing is ever too much trouble to make your stay comfortable. Lots to see and do in this part of Devon and many good restaurants in the area. Good for both famalies and coupleswhen I return!
